Hi, I'm Joshie B1, and THIS is my testimony...
I grew up in the "Christian home" you know church-going christian parents and took me and my siblings with them. For
me I was just going to church because my mom and dad made me and I had nothing better to do.
Then a couple of months later they did this weird thing called "Vacation Bible School" which was pretty cool at least my friends
were there. We had a blast just hanging out during the day.
then after a thing called "Chapel" (it was something they did at the end of the day)
the dude who was talking to us pulled me aside (because I was being rowdy) and asked me a question
"Hey dude, have you ever sinned (done something wrong)?" I immediately thought of the twenty bucks I took
off my mom's dresser, and was hoping he wouldn't continue, but he did "If so would you mind telling me what you did?" I was
feeling guilty so I said "Yeah I stole twenty bucks." I was feeling pretty ashamed of myself when he said
"Did you know that sin you commited gave you a one-way ticket to a place called Hell?" I said "Not really what's Hell
like?" He replied "Have you ever been burned before?" I said "Yeah lots of times." He said "Now imagine that burn all
over your body times a billion." I said "Ouch!" "Yeah" He said "But did you know that there's a way to avoid that burn?" I
said excitedly "How?!?!" He said all you have to do is accept the fact that Jesus died on the cross, and became your sin so
that you could go to Heaven." I said practically jumping up and down "Please tell me how." So he said "Bow your head,
close your eyes, and repeat after me." "Dear Jesus, I know I'm a sinner I don't want to go to Hell please forgive
me of all the sins I've done I know you will. thank you in Jesus' name Amen." I stood up walked around, and said
"I don't feel any different." He replied "Now it is your job to go, and make Him known." Not having any idea what he
meant I went home, and just lived life for the next three years. Then around 3rd grade my parents decided to move to
Texas for some strange reason. So we packed up all our stuff, and moved to the dumpiest house on Cannon Drive in Euless,
Texas. (Trust me if you think you've seen worse your wrong.) Anyway, since we moved we hadn't been going
to church because of stuff that needed to be done. So the next thing my parents wanted to do was go church hunting. We went
to a few that were pretty boring. Then we saw this really big church right off the highway called "First Baptist Church of
Euless" and said "Why not try this one." So the next sunday we got ready to go to this big church, and when we got there
we were amazed they had so much to do for the kids, and adults alike. So we continued going for the next four years. I
am spiritually dead for these four years you know just kinda going with the flow. Until summer camp called "360 Turn-Around
Live" I went from being spiritually dead to being "Mr. Evangelism" wanting so much to do something special for God. I've
found so much to do for Him like: writing a magazine, being a part of Broken Ground (which is the youth choir
we dance and sing and go on mission trips every summer.), and creating this web site. The purpose of this web site
is to show God's love to every one He places in my life.
